About Phoenix
On this wedding invitation card, there is a pair of Phoenix which symbolizes the traditional Chinese blessing towards you. In Chinese culture, Phoenix is in fact just as important as Dragon. There are usually two types of treatments. The first one is to put Dragon and Phoenix together. The other one is to have two phoenixes on the wedding card. In this design, we have gone for the latter. When two phoenixes are used, it means that these two phoenixes are singing to celebrate the marriage of the couple. As a matter of fact, it is not only a celebration. They are also singing to bless the couple. Again, we have used the double happiness character in this design. On top of the two phoenixes, the character is printed. Besides all these, the names of the couple, as well as the wedding date, are printing below the phoenixes.
Choices of Materials
In terms of the color of the invitation, we do not use traditional colors such as gold and red. This is because we would like to go for the idea of designing a modern Chinese wedding invitation. As a result, we use pearl white color as the main tone and background of the card. This will deliver a modern sense to your guests. Alternatively, it is also possible to make it more traditional. If you would like to go for this option, we will recommend you to change the paper stock. It is possible to change the paper stock to yellowish gold color so as to make the design look more traditional.
